I just saw some video on Facebook about some Harvard grad who was burning Harvard merchandise because they didn’t handle her rape case correctly.
It turns out the “rape” that occurred was that she and her friend were BOTH drunk partying and woke up naked together. (The school handled it fine by dropping the case).
I don’t understand why it is that when a drunk woman and a drunk man have sex, people think that classifies rape.
You’re both drunk. Neither of you can consent. Why is the drunk man considered the rapist just because he is the man? Isn’t he just as unable to consent as the drunk woman is???
The worst part was that there were hundreds of comments about how Harvard needs to “wake up” and charge (or even kill) the “rapist” despite the fact that it was nothing more than a drunken hookup. Hopefully when I’m in college I don’t get charged for rape for having a mere drunken hookup.
If you don’t want to have sex with people while you’re drunk then don’t get drunk. It’s not rape if both parties are drunk.
